Honor a sub-brand of Huawei is growing rapidly in the mobile market. The Company is known for making a mid-range device with high performing hardware. Now with the success in Honor 8X which was launched earlier this year. Honor is now planning top launch Honor 9X and 9X Pro.

The date for the launch event is on July 23 which will be held in China. But the images for the two devices have already been out on the internet. Looking at the images it seems Honor has done a great job in this device. But is the hardware as impressive as the looks? Let us check the specifications and overall design of the Honor 9X and 9X Pro.

Honor 9X and 9X Pro Overview

This time both this device comes with a complete notch-less display, unlike the Honor 8X. By saying notch-less design you might know that the phone will have a pop-up selfie camera. These two phones are the first phones from Honor to feature this technology. However, there will be small chin bezel present below the display. The rear panel of the phone has a glass back with X shaped gradient color finish.

Honor 9X

The display in the Pro is expected to be 6.59 inches long with Full HD+ resolution. On the other side, the regular 9X could come with a display smaller than the 9X Pro with Full HD+ resolution.

Honor 9X Pro

Talking about the hardware, Honor has used the newly launched Huawei processor that is Hisilicon Kirin 810 SoC paired with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage. Looking at these hardware features it seems they won’t be an issue for playing even high graphics game. Regarding the camera, the regular 9X will have a dual rear camera with 48 MP + 2 MP setup whereas the 9X Pro will have a triple rear camera with 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP setup.

Both the devices come with Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 user interface. Whereas one of the devices will have a 4000 mAh battery according to leaked images.
