Like the Samsung, Huawei has also announced it’s first foldable phone Huawei Mate X that supports 5G. Though Huawei says they are working on it here is what you need to know about its price, Specs, and features.
When can we expect Huawei Mate X release date?
As the Samsung has also announced about their first foldable phone too which is also a 5G phone to be released later this year. Huawei expects to launch its Mate X in the middle of 2019.
Although people in Asian countries needs to wait a bit long to put their hands on this phone due to lack of 5G, whereas EE and Vodafone have confirmed that they will be selling this phone.
Huawei Mate X’s features and Specs
The Mate X has got a pretty good Specs, have a look below

- Battery: 4500 mah, that splits over two cells with 55W supercharge

Overall the Mate X is the same as Samsung’s foldable phone, an 8-inch display but it is on the outside.
There is a fingerprint sensor on the power button, there are no notch and no cutout in the screen for camera. Overall Huawei explains this as a tablet, that has got a kindle oasis style for better grip.
Huawei named the folding mechanism component as “Falcon wing hinge”.
The one half of the Mate X is just 5mm thick and when folded it only gets 11mm thick which is incredibly thin.

How much is Mate X going to Cost?
Well there is no exact price range for this phone yet.
The phone currently has only one model with 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage. It costs roughly around $2600 which is likely to be Rs 3,00,000 in Nepal.
