Redmi’s recent new phones Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro was a huge success. Both the devices had a lot to expect for the price range. With this success in the Note series now Redmi seems to expand their Note phone range even more. Yes, now Redmi seems to be working on Redmi Note 8 which will be even more powerful than the Note 7 Pro.

Lu Weibing the Vice-President of Redmi has shared some post on Weibo talking something about the Redmi Note 8. The post shares some details such as it has a better camera, long-life battery and higher screen-to-body ratio.

Redmi Note 8 Expected Specifications

The Redmi Note 8 is rumored to have 6.2 inches HD+ screen. This time the bezels in the display are reduced with a dot-drop notch at the top like the Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro. The phone is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-core Processor where the real chipset is not revealed yet. The processor is paired with 4 GB RAM with 64 GB Storage. The phone will still support MicroSD card support which can be expanded up to 512 GB.

The phone will still have a Dual Rear camera. Regarding the camera specs, there are no details out yet. But with Redmi soon planning to launch their 64 MP camera lens, it seems that the Note 8 will be the first phone to have this lens. They also have announced the mass production for the 64 MP camera lens.

Besides all these specs the phone also has a rear fingerprint scanner, it is also charged with 5,000 mAh Battery. Redmi has also a new model number M1908C3IC listed on TENNA. According to some rumors, the phone could be Redmi 8 which is also rumored to soon launch.
